The Char Dham Yatra. The Char Dham, also referred to as the four abodes, is the journey up the mountains to the four sacred temples in the north-Indian state of Uttarakhand. ... The four temples that comprise Char Dham are: Yamunotri Dham, Gangotri Dham, Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham.

The Char Dham is a set of four pilgrimage sites in India. Hindus believe that visiting these sites helps achieve moksha. The four Dhams are, Badrinath, Dwaraka, Puri and Rameswaram. It is believed that every Hindu should visit the char dhams during ones lifetime.

BADRINATH KEDARNATH YATRA

Day1

Arrive Haridwar – Guptkashi (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)

This morning arrive in Haridwar and drive for Guptkashi. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the Guptkashi town. Dinner and Overnight stay in Guptkashi hotel/Camps.

Day2

Guptkashi- Gaurikund- Kedarnath (17km trek)

Morning breakfast, check-out from the hotel and travel to Gaurikund, which is the main base for the trek to Kedarnath shrine. Either you can hire a palki or take a horse or trek on your own to Kedarnath.

On the way, with continuous chants of Jai Bholenath you come across the Mandakini River Stream (a tributary of Ganga that starts from Kedarnatha and passes through Gaurikund), striking mountains and lush green jungles making Kedarnath a true paradise.

On reaching, you check-in at Government camps or cottages. and have comfortable stay at the camp.

Day3

Kedarnath- Gaurikund- Guptkashi (17 Km trek,Drive 35 Km)

Early morning, take bath and drive to Kedarnath shrine at around 4:45 am. Attend the Abhishekam, the worship of Lord Shiva. Offer sincere prayers in the shrine and get the blessings of Lord Shiva.

After Finishing the darshans, get back to the government camp and pack-up your luggage. Start your return trek from Kedarnath to Gaurikund. After reaching Gaurikund you travel to Guptkashi. back to your hotel, Overnight stay.

Day4

Guptkashi- Joshimath- Badrinath (190km/ 8 hours journey)

Morning breakfast, check-out from the hotel at 8:00am and leave for Badrinath via Joshimath. On your arrival at Badrinath, check-in at a hotel and relax. Evening you proceed for Badrinath shrine. But before that you have to take bath in divine Tapt Kund, a hot water spring. Badrinath is one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.you get back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day5

Badrinath- Joshimath- Rudraprayag (165km/ 5 to 6 hours drive)

Do Dham Yatra, you pay a visit to Badrinath shrine.Completed with all your puja and darshan, return back to the hotel, you can leave for sightseeing in Badrinath. You must visit the Mana village, Ganesh Gufa, Mata Murti temple and Vyas Gufa.

Afternoon, you travel back to Rudraprayag via Karanprayag. Rudraprayag is a pious town, known for its holy rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Upon reaching the Rudraprayag, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, overnight stay.

Day6

Rudraprayag- Rishikesh- Haridwar (160km/ 5 to 6 hours drive)

Morning breakfast and drive to Rishikesh. On your arrival at Rishikesh, visit the most important places of interest- Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, the two hanging bridges.In the evening, you can leave for Haridwar and , travel to Haridwar railway station for onward journey.post reaching bid goodbye and depart for home.

30% non-refundable booking amount of total tour cost to initiate a booking if travel date is
more than 60 days from the date of booking.
50% pay amount after the all confirmation of regarding your booking·
20% pay amount before 7 days of the departure date

Cancellation Policy: -

The cancellation policy of hotels in India is not uniform , it varies on multiple factors such as the -seasonality , size of the hotel , time gap between the cancellation intimation and the check in date , andvarious other factors which may be unique to the hotel .
Generally cancellations made 4 weeks prior to the arrival date do not attract any penalties, andcancellations / retentions are charged if the time gap is less than 4 weeks. For exact policy we wouldrequest you to contact the hotels directly on an email.
In the event of cancellation / amendments Golgo Tour would charge a processing fee of 10% of the totalinvoice amount. Golgo Tour will assist to try and collaborate with the hotel to get the penalty amount tothe minimum possible and find alternate solutions such as, using the credited amount for future reservations, but the final decision on the same lies with the hotel authorities and it is not Golgo Tour liability.
