Day1

Arrival at Gangtok

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok. On arrival Check-in to hotel and relax. Revered as the land of monasteries, Gangtok is one of the top tourist destinations to visit in India. The city boasts of number of iconic monasteries, educational institutions, striking valleys and wonderful sanctuaries. With its breathtaking attractions, Gangtok allures travelers from all parts of India and across the globe. The place has much to offer when it comes to attractions. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day2

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir

This morning, after having your breakfast, leave for your excursion to Tsomgo Lake (38.5 km) and Baba Mandir (54.6 km). A tranquil and scenic lake, Tsomgo Lake is one of the most popular attractions of Gangtok. Set at an elevation of 3780 m, this glacial lake is considered holy by Sikkimese people. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the lake. The place is a paradise for bird watchers as get to spot a number of Brahmini ducks and migratory birds near the lake. Located at a distance of around 16 km from Tsomgo Lake is Baba Mandir. A popular pilgrim center, Baba Mandir is believed to possess wish fulfilling powers. The shrine is built in the memory of Baba Harbhajan Singh, who was an Indian Army soldier and lost his life near Nathula Pass. It is believed that he is still on duty for the Indian Army and he guards the lives of soldiers posted on the India- China border. You have an option of visiting Nathula Pass, which is located 20 km from the shrine. Later, head back to Gangtok. In the evening, go for a stroll around the Mall road or any of the local shopping centers. Stay overnight at the gangtok hotel.

Day3

Gangtok –Lachen

Drive from Gangtok to Lachen - 110 Kms, Altitude:8500 ft. / 2590 m, Travel time: 5 - 6 hours.Photographs (2 each) and Photo copy of ID proofs (Aadhar Card & PAN Card are not permissible) of all guests travelling, are required for processing of permit.

late afternoon / early evening - The snow capped peaks, the Shingbha wildlife sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley, Thangu are the major attraction – Its a valley surrounded by gigantic and humbling snow peak mountains and the starting point of Green Lake Trek – In fact the village cradled between stern, tall rock faces standing like guards – A hamlet with very few people – It almost like this town is hidden from the outside – Like a Shangri-Check into a hotel-Welcome Tea – Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village – Overnight stay at Hotel.

Small halts on the way to enjoy the scenic beauty of Hills and Waterfalls.

Day4

Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Drive to Lachung

Early Morning - Drive from Lachen to Guru Dongmar Lake (via Thangu, a small village on the way to the Lake) – 60 kms, Altitude: 17800 ft. / 5425 m, Travel time: 3 – 4 hours,

One of the most sacred Lakes which remain frozen most of the year but a portion of lake touched by Guru Padmasambhava remains unfrozen even in the extreme winter.

The Gurudongmar Lake is beautiful in a valley at an altitude of 11, 800 feet.Though the lake waters are frozen from December to April, a part of the water remains in liquid form all throughout the year. The pious lake is a heart-warming beauty.

Drive back to Lachen in the afternoon. Post Lunch:Drive fromLachen to Lachung – 40 kms (via Chungthang), Travel time: 1 hr. – 1hr.30 min

Lachung is another major town of North Sikkim. Nearly 50 kilometers, the 2 hours' drive is awe inspiring. The town is generally considered at gateway to Yumthang but the beauty and charm is amazing. From the windows of your vehicle you see valleys full of mists and forests of Rhododendron blooms.

Night stay at Lachung.

Day5

Excursion Trip to Yumthang Valley – Gangtok

Breakfast in hotel afterthat drive towards Yumthang situated at nearly 11,800 feet. The one hour drive to beautiful Yumthang crosses through the famous hot spring known for its curative properties of skin diseases.Drive from Lachung to Yumthang Valley - 25 kms, Altitude:11800 ft. / 3597 m, Travel time: 2 hours approximately (One Way).

Yumthang is an Alpine flower valley in North Sikkim. Here you can enjoy the scenic landscape and hot spring.

Drive from Lachung to Gangtok via Chungthang (Altitude: 5550 ft. / 1675 m) – 125 kms, Travel time: 6 – 7 hours.

Night stay at Gangtok.

Day6

Departure

After breakfast Check-out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

Pick up from and drop at New Jalpaiguri Railway station / Bagdogra airport by non a/c vehicle

Supplement Cost for Nathula Pass @ Rs. 5,900.00 per car will be charged extra (Monday & Tuesday closed).

Permit require for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 02 copies of passport size photograph, original photo ID proof with photo copy (identity card – Voter ID card / Pass-port / Driving License / Aadhar Card) for processing the permit. PAN Card is not acceptable for issuance of the Permit.

50% pay amount after the all confirmation of regarding your booking·
20% pay amount before 7 days of the departure date

Cancellation Policy: -

The cancellation policy of hotels in India is not uniform , it varies on multiple factors such as the -seasonality , size of the hotel , time gap between the cancellation intimation and the check in date , and various other factors which may be unique to the hotel .
Generally cancellations made 4 weeks prior to the arrival date do not attract any penalties, and cancellations / retentions are charged if the time gap is less than 4 weeks. For exact policy we would request you to contact the hotels directly on an email.
